Welcome to the Midnight Club
BBS Welcome, you've just arrived at
the Midnight Club, a free BBS (Bulletin Board System) located in
Danville, VA.
We have quite a bit to offer.
Signing up for a free account gives you access to:
Message Boards:
We've got several local boards as well as boards linked to Usenet
newsgroups (If you don't see one your interested in, just send
Danilo a email), and we're part of DoveNet which networks some
message boards.
We're also running a 3.5Ed AD&D game in the local message boards
using a play by post format, that has been evolving over the past
few months as we've been playing. More players are welcome,
drop on by and see what's going on or feel free to join in and
create a character.
If you have an idea for a new board, please post it in General or
drop Danilo an email.
File Areas:
We've got several file transfer areas, accessible via our FTP server
or you can still do a ZModem transfer if your terminal supports it.
Also online in our file area are 4 of the old Night Own shareware
CD's (Disks # 6, 8, 9 and 11) which add over 22,000 files available.
In addition there are member accessible area's where you can put
your favorite files (please shareware/free ONLY) to share with other
members.
If you don't see an area that matches what your wanting to upload,
let Danilo know and he'll get an area setup.
Doors:
Doors are external programs (these can ONLY be access via Telnet/SSH)
and can do many things.

I've just updated the Twitter script so it's posting a bit more.
Here's what you can expect to see when viewing our Twitter page:
Telnet/SSH/Web login's
Completion of daily backups
Various system updates such as updating the BBS, OS Patches and
scheduled system reboots.
If we have some kind of power outage or non-scheduled problem I'll
post a update on our Twitter page.

from Facebook to the BBS.
